An unexpected bento day. The boys slept late because we reached home late after dinner at TMM. Everyone slept in as it was my MIL who had followed us up instead. She does not gets up as early as my FIL and hence the lost of time in the morning. I almost jumped up from my bed when my alarm rang at 7:45am. Luckily Odin was still sleeping then. This gave me time to wake MIL and Owein up and to pack a last min bento for Owein. Waking at this time, does not allow Owein to have breakfast before heading off to school. So, breakfast will be at school with whatever mummy can pack into the box last minute.
Raisin bread + Oreo Cookies + Cheese ... beautify the box with barans and use silicon cups to fill up space. Another typical no planning and anything goes bento.

Bento Wednesday!!! Our planned bento day but mummy is super busy this morning and to make matter worse, I had arranged for a long over due breakfast session with my GFs and MIL is not around in the morning. SIGH ... this equates to a very rush morning for me. Having to juggle a few matters in the short period of time.
Anyway, since today is planned bento day, some prep work had been done the night before for both the boys' boxes. Only need to touch up this morning to complete it.
FIL called this the Flying Bear and so it shall be. Had wanted to copy an angel bear idea I saw online but was too lazy to work with cheese for the bear and used the bear baran instead. The only thing I managed to copy is to give the bear wings ... with that, my bear indeed look more like a 'flying' bear instead of an angel. LOL.
After dropping off Owein at school, I headed home to get Odin and Oswald ready to head out to meet my GFs. Odin goes where the mummy cow goes without saying and Oswald, had to follow so that he can grab a bite before it is time for him to go school. Mummy is staying out till it is time to pick Owein up from school.
When we all reached home, I quickly threw in the orange and dried cherries into Oswald's box and off he goes to school. Only then I manage to sit down and take a break.

GREAT!!! Today Oswald's turn to sleep in ... missed his time for breakfast and missed his chance to eat his favorite homemade 肉干面包. He had asked to bring it to school for recess and mummy gave in. After my usual morning rituals, I started working on Oswald's bento.
Totally hate uncalled for bentos and totally hated unplanned, no concept bentos. And don't know what's wrong with me recently ... had been having bento block. SIGH ... with that limited time and limited thoughts, I just stared at my tools and do the best I could to fill up space and to beautify.
As if I was not depressed enough for not getting my mojo back for bento-ing, I was haunted by a bad migraine. By nightfall, I'd swallowed 4 panadol extras and yet it is still there. Mind can't thing and function and only when I decided to hit my pillows for the night, then I realized I had not prepared anything for the boys' bento tomorrow. DIE!!! Got no extra bread for bento making too ... ARGH!!! But my head is too pain to think so much.

It is snack galore for the boys today due to my slight overlook yesterday. Only got picture of Owein's box as mummy forgotten to take a snap shot of Oswald's. Aftermath of a terrible migraine yesterday ... brain still not functioning properly.
