Speedy Recovery!!!

Today finally is the day to head back to KKH for review and removal of Oswald's cast. Final view of his cast before its removal ...

According to doctor, his bones had healed 80-85%. But still need to put on a wrist guard for the next 4 weeks. Glad that he is recovering well. This wrist guard will be his friend till his next appointment ...

Baking Frenzy

I had been on a baking frenzy over this National Day weekend.

My car had to be sent down to the workshop again for some rectification work and hence I am stuck at home with Owein and Odin. Oswald, he gets to spend this long weekend at grandma's house. Hubby was sent down to the workshop together with the car to see through the rectification work. So, I turned to baking to pass time at home ... I had been baking everyday since Friday.

Friday's bake (10 Aug 12) was Pandan Chiffon Cake and Blueberry Crumble Muffins.

Saturday's bake (11 Aug 12) was Double Chocolate Chip Cookies.

Sunday's bake (12 Aug 12) of the day was Banana Chiffon Cake. Found an excuse to bake because there were oven ripen bananas sitting around. Using a recipe from a chiffon book that I'd bought recently - 初学者也ok !自己作职人配方的戚风蛋糕 - result is fantastic and I love it!!! Going to find chance to try out other recipes from the book soon ...

Luckily got a bunch of people that I can pass on my bakes to else I really don't know how to finish all those bakes. But I must admit one thing ... baking is very therapeutic. It not only helps pass time, it also helps one to reduce stress.

Bento #35 - 'Singa' Burger

Decided to prepare a 'lazy' lunch for the boys and came up with this idea.

Since National Day is just round the corner, decided to create some National Day mood at home. Made this simple lion on the Ham Cheese and Egg burger for the boys and I call it 'Singa' Burger.

Really looking forward to National Day on Thursday. It is Singapore's 47th Birthday. Happy Birthday Singapore!!!

Odin n his buddy

Odin is 9 months old already. Check him out, he is almost as 'long' as his buddy.

It was definitely the most busy 9 months since Odin's arrival but it is also the happiest 9 months since. Watching him grow this period of time was indeed a great pleasure. Discovering his moods and traits day by day is so much fun. This little bundle had brought so much joy.

Bento #34 - Chip Chip Chip

Chip ... Chip ... Chip. Let's sing and have a merry day in school.

Ran out of idea and had gotten Oswald to pick what he want. He choose a birdie stencil and I've turned it into this.

A quick and easy Friday bento put together for the boys.

Next week, is Singapore's birthday. Time to brainstorm National Day related bento over the weekend. I wander what I can come up with. ;)

Drama - 你为我著迷 (Heartstrings)

By CN Blue's main singer Jung Yong Hwa whi is also the lead actor in this drama. Paired once again with Park Shin Hye and this time their love relation worked out and blossomed. Unlike in their last show together - 原来是美男 (He's Beautiful).


Another song that I like in the drama, also by Jung Yong Hwa. Very sad song and very touching.




Not forgetting Park Shin Hye's sweet voice. This is my favorite song by her in this drama.
