Xmas is OVER!!!

This Xmas season passed really really quickly. Maybe it was because we were packed with activities during this holiday and therefore time passes really fast.

24 Dec 09 - Xmas eve. We had a family gathering at Aunty Jenny's house. Almost everyone was there. I made walnut cake for each family and had brought down my bottle of Rose to share with everyone.

25 Dec 09 - Xmas Day. The party last night ended late and cannot relax yet as there's another party going on tonight. We had a few friends coming over in the evening for a BBQ. Luckily I got most of the party ware required and we only need to go pick up a handful of items to be all ready for the party.

** Those who came by for BBQ **

26 Dec 09 - Boxing Day. JM and myself have yet another gathering to head to this evening. We have a dinner date with ZY and Perle. Kids are not coming along because mummy wants to drink ... LOL. Dinner was a feast!!! We had Roast Chicken, Mussels, Lamb Chops and Chocolate Fondue for dessert. Yummy ... YUM YUM!!!

27 Dec 09 - Post X'mas. Guess how we ended our X'mas weekend ... a trip to PG with the KIDS!!!

At East Coast Park

When friends jio-ed us for a day out at ECP yesterday. We thought it would be a good idea to bring the kids out for some outdoor play and hence were looking forward to the outing and were happy that Oswald can go for his bicycle ride.

Though we woke up a bit late, we left the house feeling excited. But excitement died down when JM could not locate Oswald's bicycle. We looked around and even called his dad to check the bicycle's location. Oswald's bicycle is LOST!!! Damn ... how could that happen. Even if his bicycle was not locked properly (which we saw many others are not even locked) it shouldn't do missing just like that. For goodness sake, we are staying in a condo ... not HDB!!! Damn those who took it away!!! [Oswald was so sad that his bicycle was lost when we broke the news to him later on. He wept as he said, "We must go to police station, get police to catch the bad guys"] As we were already late, we let the matter pass for the moment but it did spoil our mood a little.

We rented bicycle for Oswald and myself. Owein will be riding with me. JM got his blade with him. But JM only realised that his blades' buckle was damaged when he plan to changed into them. Luckily there's a shop round the corner can salvage the problem. It also turned out that the shop is own by a neighbour staying in the same block as us. Lucky JM, get to change his buckle at neighbour price and got a set of wheels for his blades as well FOC.

It was a great day out for the kids and the adults as well. The only thing is that Oswald's bicycle was missing. Anyway, we've got him a new bicycle to replaced the lost one at night. Hope it will not go missing again.

Check out our happy times HERE.
