Drama - 泰勒瓦 (Terroir)

One day, Tae-min (Kim Joo-hyeok) leaves for Bordeaux, France to grant the long-cherished wishes of Mir Trading President Yang Seung-geol and his uncle who is now in the final stages of his cancer. Their wishes is to taste the 1945 bottle of Chateau Mouton Mayer.

Meanwhile, Lee Woo-ju (Han Hye-jin) raised by her grandparents in a traditional Korean winery called Nancho, decides to leave or France after her boyfriend studying abroad in France hasn't called her for a year. At last, Tae-min gets his hands on the wine, but the bottle ends up being switched with Woo-ju's raspberry wine. Tae-min finds out later and does not know what to do ...

Aftermath of Pilate

*woo* ... *ouch* ... *argh*

Those are the sounds I'd made 1st thing in the morning when I tried getting out of my bed. All thanks to 0 exercise in my lifestyle until I'd decided to give Pilate a try.

1st lesson started yesterday at Yew Tee CC. Mat work and stretching exercises really does work those lazy muscles and got them 'screaming' at me early this morning.

Still got 9 more lessons to go ... 加油!!!!

Phew ... 1st week of school went by for little Owein and he score flying colours!!!

The little one is so independent and he adapts to schooling quite well. Only with the slight reluctance just before he step into school but after he sets his foot in, he is all by his own. Only looking for mummy occasionally but never cry.

Owein's 1st day of school!!!

Finally it is Owein's turn to start school. We had enrolled him into pre-nursery at The Methodist Church of The Incarnation.

The minimum starting age is 2.5 years old and that's why Owein can only start school from this term onwards. Schooling time: 8:00am - 11:00am.

1 year older liao!!!

"Happy birthday ... happy birthday ... happy birthday to ME!!!"


Oh yes ... it is the time of the year again ... adding on another count to my age. *sigh* getting older by the years.

This year's birthday celebration is simple. We went out for a simple dinner with the boys and the boys each took turn to surprise me with pressies they got with daddy.


1) JM brought Oswald to buy a cake for me while we were waiting for our orders to arrive. They hid the cake in the car so as to surprise me but who knows ... Oswald is the one who let the cat out of the bag.

2) JM brought Owein out for a walk after he was done with his dinner and they came back with a bouquet of flowers for me ^_^


Though these are small pressies but they are just what I need to brighten up my day.

Universal Studios (Singapore)

We are so lucky to be the 1st few to experience Universal Studios (SIN) before the opening. All thanks to my future BIL whose dad is working in Resorts World. The tickets allow us to stay in Universal Studios for 5 hours (9am - 2pm).

Though we arrived there early, but due to time constrain, we only manage to take a walk round the park and catch a few rides and shows with the kids. The kids also had their 1st taste of churros ... my favourite :p

Beautiful Nails

Drop both the kids off at in-laws place today because we got to attend a ROM reception in the morning tomorrow.

With hand on time ... I spare no time to pamper myself. I'd booked for a medicure and pedicure session. This is so that I have pretty nails for tomorrow's event and my brithday (which is just 3 days away).

Ladies Night!!!

A friend is going to sign on the dotted line in 2 days time, ending her life as a single and moved on to next stage of life. We were happy for her (of cos) but despite that, we really wana make sure that she is ready for it.

Taking that as an excuse, I finally had my GIRLS NIGHT OUT after so many years. Although is just the 3 of us, but we really enjoyed ourselves. Heart to heart talk ... our love stories ... and not to mention embarrassing moments :p

It really feels great ... no need to think of kids ... no hubby to consider for (although hubby also having he fair share of fun with his guy friends ... hahaha). Is just me and the girls ...

Drama - 市政厅 (City Hall)

I say this show GROWS on you. The initial part is really quite dry but the story slowly develops ...


Shin Mi-rae is a civil servant who's been working at a very low post for the last seven years. Known for her great coffee, she fells in love with Joh Guk, the new deputy mayer. Mi-rae has a great deal of credit card debt, so she enters a beauty pageant to win the first prize of 20,000,000 won. But when the prize money ends up in the mayor's pocket, Mi-rae holds a one-person demostration in front of city hall. After a series of ups and downs, Mi-rae gets her price money, but has no choice but to resign from her job. When the situation is leaked to the press, the mayor resigns as well.

The job of mayor is up for grabs and Mi-rae becomes nominated as a mayoral candidate with the support of her followers and Joh Guk, the deputy mayor. Will Mi-rae rewrite history as the youngest female mayor ever? What is Joh Guk's real intention in helping make Mi-rae mayor?

Drama - 男版灰姑娘 (Cinderella Man)

It really had been awhile since I last update on dramas.

1st, the title of the show caught my attention. 2nd, it was the leading male actor (Kwon Sang Woo - same actor in 天国的阶梯) that made me want to watch this show.


There's not much to life. It's all about getting that one lucky break! Dae-san sells his own clothing design at a small shop in Dongdaemun Market and all he thinks about is getting rich.One day, he crosses path with Joon-hee and finds that they share an uncanny resemblance to each other.

Joon-hee, who is also the hire of a fashion empire, asks Dae-san if he could pose as him for a month. While secretly posing as Joon-hee, Dae-san uses his savvy business skills to outmaneuver Lee Jae-min and also finds true love.

Busy CNY

CNY holidays finally over ... everyone will be back at school/work tomorrow and everything should return back to normal.

2010 CNY was the busiest one for me. Lots of event happening before and during the period. I am really glad that the CNY holidays is coming to an end. Back to some normal life finally ... hahaha

This CNY, relatives from USA are in town ... everyone including the kids. Also, due to that reason, we had more gatherings than usual but despite being tired out, I enjoyed every minute of it.

Pedicure for CNY

I'd made appointment to pamper my hands and feet today to get them ready for CNY :p This is an annual event so no matter how busy also got to get it done. There is another 5 days more to CNY so I decided to just get my toes painted first.

For the first time ever, this is the color I've choosen and a simple nail art with it.


Nice? It is a dark blue shade. 1st time ever I tried such colour and not too sure what had gotten into me to choose such a shade :p

Gona get my nails 'painted' done on CNY eve ... I wander should I go for the same color or something lighter ... *thinking*

Hahaha ... can't make out what's happening expect for the last picture right. Don't worry because I too cannot figure out.

I did not get a chance to speak to the teacher because today JM's the one who brought Oswald for class and he's the one who picked him up to.

All the feedback I gotten from JM is that, for the 1st picture, Oswald was told to draw shapes. 2nd picture, is a picture of my kitchen (Drawing theme:- Kitchen). And last picture, painting of a Kam Kat Tree.

Recipe - Drunken Chicken

It had been awhile since I last update a new tried and tested recipe. Recently due to the coming CNY, my MIL had been busy tidying her own place and spent lesser time at my place. Due to this, I had chance to step into the kitchen and try out new recipes.

Dug out this and easy to do prepare recipe from my recipe file - Drunken Chicken. This is quite a hassle free dish and can be prepared within minutes.

Watch You, Watch Me

Hubby had been searching for a couple watch for the longest time but never found one that I like or suit me till recently. Also, we haven been actively looking for it till recently too lah. He'd sent his BALL watch for servicing and that will take 2 weeks to be done. Hence while the watch is at service, he got no other dress watch to wear. So, that spark off the 'urge' to look for a watch and hence a couple watch since we do not have such :p

After checking out a few watch shops at IMM, managed to find one that I quite like at CityChain.


But a few days later, the stripe of the digital watch that he wear to work for now broke. And after being prompted by a friend that Casio had a watch that is endorsed by Sebastian Vettel (one of his favourite F1 driver) set his heart tickling. We did an search for that watch and realised that it is a limited edition watch. We headed down to a Casio booth to check out the watch only to be told that because it is limited edition and hence it is sold out. Only the normal version of the watch is available.

A bit disappointed and since the price of the normal version is quite an average price for most of the other models, hubby decided to give it a thought before deciding on which watch to get. While walking around, we check out another watch shop just to be sure that the limited edition watch is out of stock. But I guess we got lucky. This watch shop guarantee that they will be able to get that watch for us. A bit skeptical in the beginning but we still went ahead to place a deposit since the sales person mentioned that it will be refunded back if it is not the watch we wanted.

We placed the order last night before and yesterday afternoon hubby received a call and was told the stock had arrived. We lost no time to go check out the watch. We headed down to the shop after hubby's work and BINGO ... it is really the limited edition one. This is the watch ...


In short, over a period of 1 week, my dear hubby gotten himself 2 new watches :p

Art for Oswald - Lesson 4

Oswald is always attracted to a clock piece that was use for display in class. Today, I've decided to let him have his own clock so he can admire everyday.

** This 'rocket' clock ticks quite loudly. I am so glad that this clock is not staying in my room ... LOL **

I guess after making the clock he did have some extra time on hand and he gets to do his favorite ... painting!!!
